Korea

Korea is an important partner of Germany and has gained significant relevance in recent years for understanding East Asia. Consequently, interest in Korean culture and society has also increased.

With the introduction of Korean Studies in the winter semester 2025/26 as part of the B.A. in East Asian Studies, students will have the opportunity to systematically explore the development of the economy, politics, and society of the Korean Peninsula as well as its integration into international relations.
