Contacts for questions and concerns regarding diversity
UNIFY is Heidelberg University's central point of contact responsible for issues related to balancing work and family life, diversity, equality, and anti-discrimination. The goals, responsibilities, measures, and activities it pursues align with the legal mandate and strategic objectives of the Excellence Strategy.
As part of GUIDE—the university’s procedure for addressing conflicts and misconduct—volunteer confidential guides (Vertrauenslots*innen) will begin supporting the anti-discrimination network (Netzwerk Antidiskriminierung) from the autumn of 2024 onwards, offering easily accessible assistance to bolster the university’s already existing confidential contact points. They are familiar with the university’s resources and contact persons, and can refer those seeking support to the appropriate place when difficulties arise. This is intended to help anyone in need quickly find support within the university system and offer them several pathways for reaching out to people they trust.
Contacts for students with disabilities, chronic illnesses, or mental/physical limitations, as well as for students with children
