Korean Studies Chun-Shik Kim

Chun-Shik Kim has been a Professor at Dongshin University since 2017, following his tenure at POSTECH (2006-2017). He earned his PhD from the University of Hamburg and is a scholar in the modern cultural history of Germany and East Asia. In 2024, he was selected as a Theodore von Kármán Fellow (BMBF / RWTH Aachen). Serving as President of the Korean Society for German History and a former advisor to the Ministry of Education and Expert Member of the National Education Committee, he bridges academic and policy exchange between Korea and Germany. His current research includes the Creative Convergence Education Program and higher education exchange between Korea and China, alongside comparative studies on vocational education.
