Our research team (Prof. Dr Anja Senz, Dr Zhu Yi, Dr Ja Ok Kwon, Dr In Young Min) follows a comparative approach and conducts research on the political and social structures of the countries commonly grouped under the umbrella term ‘East Asia’ – the Chinese-speaking regions, North and South Korea, as well as Japan.
