Short introduction

I have been a lecturer for the Chinese language at this institute since 1987. Due to my own distressing previous experiences of learning foreign languages, I have become very interested in teaching methods. Interestingly there have been virtually no developments in teaching methods in China or on Chinese Teaching that are suitable to non-native speakers, Receptive method is in fact still very popular in China. That´s why I felt that I had to focus on sophisticated teaching methods and try to transform teaching methods for european languages such as superlearning and suggestopedia into Chinese teaching and work out, what different language teaching methods achieved.
