The Institute of East Asian Art History at Heidelberg University invites you to the opening of the exhibition “Pu Quan (1912–1991): From Imperial Prince to Proletarian Painter,” which will be on display from December 8, 2025, in the Library of the Center for Asian Studies and Transcultural Studies (CATS Library). Visitors can look forward to an introduction to the exhibition, a live painting slam, as well as an evening lecture on “The Ashmolean Collection of Modern Chinese Painting” by Shelagh Vainker, Curator of Chinese Art at the Ashmolean Museum in Oxford.
